Follow focus systems and matte boxes are where a lot of shooters overspend or underspend — a cinema-grade wireless FIZ rig is overkill for a solo run-and-gun shooter, and a bare manual follow focus knob won’t cut it on a multi-person set with a dedicated focus puller.
